Too Many Cooks is a casual game that puts you behind the helm of a restaurant on a mission to pipe out as many hot dishes as possible at one time in a race against the clock. This Playstack title is perfectly adapted to smartphones and comes with the whopping serving of its own brand of visual charm that we've all come to know and love.
Each mission in Too Many Cooks requires you whip up a set of dishes -- each of which call for a specific (but minimal) ingredient list -- after all, your aim is to cater to your customers' every whim. Towards the top of your screen there's a list of dishes on the way that you'll need to cook following a simple list of instructions located at the bottom of your screen. If, for example, a customer orders salmon sushi, you're going to need to get some salmon out, filet it on a cutting board and serve it to your client. You're going to want to give your customers dining wear including plates and additional side dishes, like rice, if the recipe calls for it.
Even though each dish is cooked differently, it's easy enough to learn to make them because they come with simple instructions. Plus, it's all quite intuitive given that essentially you'll only need to tap on your screen to select, drag and drop items in order to cook. This game comes with three distinct levels of difficulty that progressively increase in complexity until reaching a boiling point that is surprisingly quite the challenge.
Too Many Cooks is a fun game that's clearly heavily influenced by other classics like Cooking Mama -- both in terms of its playability as well as its graphics. Opt to play solo or with friends in the multiplayer mode and meet other players located around the world.
